| Hip-Hop Rumors: Rihanna Goes Nude! Nas To Get Dropped Over N-Word ...
I do find it interesting that they take this stance, because all Def Jam rap albums are laced with variations of the N-Word. Still, an album of that name is sure a pretty powerful statement, however Nas intends to present it. Maybe this is the beginning of a different regime in rap? NOT! Tell me your thoughts on this matter. If this is true, is Def Jam right or wrong for allegedly threatening Nas with independence if he names his album N***r? (Shout out to Clarence for the tip.) UNCLE MURDER GOT SHOT!? Yeah, he got shot, but it wasn't too TOO bad, because he's been doing interviews and radio. Still, getting shot is getting shot.
Atlanta Journal-Constitution
A quick thought on Bennett, from ssscribe's mention before. Most of us went through the winter thinking that he was out of options. Since he isn't, I think if he doesn't win the 5th start job out of spring training, I think it might be best for him to go to Richmond and log some inning so if/when someone in the rotation gets hurts or is ineffective, he could jump right in. Swing guys can usually only go 5 innings (at most) as an emergency starter, so why not take advantage of that final roster spot with Boyer/Resop (assuming they pitch okay in spring) so you have an extra arm in the pen for regular us. And if a situation arose where Bennett wasn't available for an emergency start, I'd assume Charlie Morton will be in Mississippi and on a schedule opposite Bennett/Reyes/etc.
RECIPE FINDER: Old Bay Hot Crab Meat
Jane Raley of Lutherville, Md., was looking for a recipe for a crab dip similar to the one she enjoyed so much that was served at the now-closed Jasper's restaurant in Pikesville, Md.. She says it was the best crab dip she had ever had. Harriett Heyman of Baltimore found three different crab-dip recipes in her collection. She says she has made all three numerous times and would recommend any one of them. I tested the one that sounded the most classic to me. It is a luscious concoction made with fresh lump crab meat and flavored primarily with Old Bay seasoning. If fresh crab meat is not available where you live, pasteurized could be substituted, but I would recommend adding a tablespoon or so of fresh lemon juice. This dip is best served warm and paired with crackers, chips or raw vegetables.
Lenten menu is cast: Seafood on Fridays
Fish sticks. They've been around since the 1920s and for generations of Catholics, particularly in landlocked regions of the nation, the frozen food item will forever be linked to meatless Fridays. "My mother would make fish sticks during Lent, and I didn't really like them,'' said Charlene Connelly, owner of That Irish Shop in Valley Junction in West Des Moines, recalling her Catholic upbringing in South Dakota. Fish in every form takes on added importance for many Christian faiths from today - Ash Wednesday - through Easter, March 23. The first day of Lent, Ash Wednesday is one of two days - the other is Good Friday, March 21 - that Catholics are obliged to fast as well as not eat meat. .

The negotiations for Mill River are one example. What came from that: Infrastructure along Seltice way, Water and Sewer, Sewer to the City of Huetter and a backup water access. (protecting the river from septic tanks) 1500 feet of public park and access to a beautiful sandy beach on the river, (how much would that cost with the price of waterfront property today.never happen) Several hundred good jobs with benefits and a decent wage, US Bank with the property donated by the developers to attract the bank, which by the way, was in some pretty heavy competition with other states who wanted those jobs in thier areas. Would all this have happened without LCDC, possibly, but you can bet there would not be a public park along the waterfront. That would make an excellent location for some more big homes instead of a place for the public.

Editor's note: A previous version of this story stated Michael McKinney resigned from the Ball State University police force. It should have said that Robert Duplain resigned. This story has been corrected. The questions about how he handled a deadly encounter with a Ball State University student have haunted Robert Duplain for four years, but Monday the former police officer won vindication from a jury. .
